DNS Trackback Plugin (the "proper" solution)

B2evo user Austriaco has made the plugin “DNS Antispam Trackback” which checks the ip address of the host sending the trackback with the ip address of the host that is inside of the trackback, if the trackback is legit then they should be the same.

So far it works perfectly on this blog, no trackback spam at all, so well done. If any of you want to test sending trackbacks, send it to this post. For you lazy people, here.

Update: Austriaco has release v0.2 which should fix the wordpress.com problems.

B2evolution is a very nice piece of software and I definitely love it. It has grown with me and I have grown as a blogger with it.

That being said, I decided to test my knowledge, both of B2evolution and of PHP writing a small plugin to repel trackb...
